Lake on the Mountain Resort is a seasonal family run business located on the beautiful and mysterious Lake on Mountain, one of Ontario’s natural wonders. The resort is perched over 62 metres above Lake Ontario and has spectacular views of the Bay of Quinte (Adolphus Reach) below.
Our family has owned and operated the resort for the past 33 years. We are truly a family run resort and are involved in every aspect of the business. Not a day will go by where you won’t find at least a few of us serving or hosting guests at one of our two restaurants, brewing beer at our craft brewery, cutting grass at the property, welcoming cottage guests or any other number of things. This is not just our business but it is our home and we are excited and proud to welcome and share our beautiful property with you.

The Miller House has one of the County’s most picturesque views – you can dine in the historic ‘Millers House’ or enjoy local beverages and fine food al fresco on our patio as you watch the ferry crossing 200 feet below in the Adolphus Reach

The Pavilion
A Muskoka style pavilion, reminiscent of dance pavilions from days past, on the shore of Lake on the Mountain. This fully licensed facility is available from May to October for small intimate weddings (40ppl or less), anniversaries, yoga retreats, business meetings and corporate events
WEDDINGS
We’re excited to partner with ‘Ceremonies by Cathy’, a trusted local officiant who specializes in small intimate weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. Cathy is known for creating truly customized ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique story, style, and values—no templates, no cookie-cutter moments.
Through seamless collaboration with preferred local vendors, Cathy takes care of every detail of the ceremony, ensuring everything flows effortlessly. From coordination to execution, she manages it all so couples can relax, be present, and truly enjoy their day.
