ABOUT
‘The House Across the Road’ was built in roughly 1890 as a home for one of the original family members that ran the Lake on the Mountain Mill. It is now a glorious 4 bedroom vacation home that is located on the property of Lake on the Mountain Resort in one of the most spectacular locations in Prince Edward County. This wonderful vacation rental is the perfect base for exploring the County. We are a 5-7 minute drive to the town of Picton, and are just a short drive to some of the best hiking trails, beaches, wineries, breweries, cheese factories, restaurants and shops on the island. But if you don’t feel like venturing to far, you can just relax on-site on our spacious grounds, enjoy our small private beach, a swim in the lake, a bite to eat at one of our two on-site restaurants or cool off with a cold pint at our brewery a short walk down the hill in the hamlet of Glenora.

Unfortunately no as we have a strict occupancy dictated by our municipality

Yes, we are always happy to offer suggestions for things to see and do in the County. We all love where we live and work and are happy to share all of our favourite places!
CANCELLATION POLICY
- If cancelling 30+ days prior to arrival, 15% of total stay will be charged
- If cancelling 7-30 days prior to arrival, 50% of total stay will be charged
- If cancelling 7 days or less prior to arrival; the full price of stay will be charged
